The Bellbrook Lions Club held our annual festival with a totally new format and new name. The Bellbrook SummerFest ran Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
August 23, 24, and 25, 2019 at the old Sugarcreek School at 51 East Street, Bellbrook Ohio.
The SummerFest began Friday night at 6:00PM with games, carnival rides, crafts, and lots of great food! There were lots of things to do for kids and adults alike,
including our big parade through downtown Bellbrook at 2:00PM on Saturday. We had great food trailers for cotton candy, Italian sausages, chicken, and
last but not least funnel cakes. And under the big food tent, we served:
Friday - Catfish or Chopped Steak dinner
Saturday - BBQ Chicken or Chopped Steak Dinner
Sunday - Little Miami River Catering Hog Roast
We don't think anyone went home hungry!!
As usual, we had live Music in the Beer & Wine Tent
Friday - DiSturbing the Peace
Saturday - Spungeworthy
Sunday - Open Mic with Chris Heider
With much anticipation at the festival's conclusion, we drew the names of the following winners:
- 1st Prize - $10,000 - Mr. Tony Lamb, Jr. of Xenia Ohio
- 2nd Prize - $500 - Mr. Gerald Schriml of Centerville Ohio
- 3rd Prize - $250 - Mr. Jim Pollack of Centerville Ohio
The Bellbrook Lions Club raises $35K - $40K annually for Bellbrook youth programs impacting over 350 youths. Additionally, annual scholarships are provided to qualifying students
as well as donations to the Bellbrook Police and Fire Departments. The festival is by far, one of our largest fundraisers.
Thank you for coming and supporting our great community.
